Ideal if your M4 Backplate is cracked, motor has failed or the gearbox bush has worn. Works with the existing M4 Main Pulley.N.B. As the original M4 Motors are no longer available, we supply the M5 1200 watt hi-torque unit (25% increase in power and increased cranking speed; makes a big difference to cranking voltage for electronic ignition units). Also, because the M4 Main Pulleys were cut on early CNC machines, the HTD tooth pattern produced was in fact incorrect (minimally) meaning that the outside diameter of the M4 pulley is smaller than the new M5 pulley. This therefore requires a slightly longer backplate (The M4 Legacy Backplate).
